Ensuring you choose the right size for your waste!
Our 4 yard midi skips are Idea for garden or household waste, you can put approximately 30 – 40 bin bags of waste in a 4 yard skip, and they are also perfect for kitchen & bathroom refits.
Our 6 Yard maxi skips will hold approximately 50 – 60 bin bags of waste and are also referred to as a small builders skip, great for bulky waste.
Our 8 Yard skips will hold approximately 60 – 80 bin bags of waste and are ideal for heavy waste.
Our 10 Yard Skips will hold approximately 80 – 100 bin bags of waste great for large house clearances.
Our 12 Yard Skips hold approximately 100 – 120 bin bags of waste and are ideal for large construction projects.

Scammell Group always endeavour to offer a same day or next day delivery service, this is however dependant on location and if a skip licence is required.
Scammell Group offer a range of different size skips from 4 cubic yards to 12 cubic yards. Asbestos , Fridges / Freezers, Tyres, Gas Canisters, Batteries, Paint Cans, Plasterboard, Clinical/Medical Waste, Solvents / Liquids, Hazardous/ Hazardous/Toxic Material. Mattresses are not permitted in general waste skips, should you wish to dispose of a mattress there will be an extra charge for this. If you need to dispose of any hazardous items then please call our skip department who will be more than happy to help you.
We will place your skip in the most convenient location which maybe your driveway or the road. If we need to place the skip on a road, your will need a skip licence, correct signage and lights. If we place your skip on private property we must have the permission of the property owner, please contact us if you cannot place the skip on private land and we can arrange for a skip licence for you. Alternatively we may be able to organise a wait and load service.
A Skip Licence is required by most local councils for skips that need to be placed on a public highway, and usually take 7 – 10 working days to arrange. This is the skip hire company’s responsibility, so we’ll take care of this in good time for the delivery of your domestic or commercial skip. Scammell Group will not place skips on public property with out a valid skip licence.
